Hello!

Thanks for checking out my website. I created this site as a way to share my musical creations and discoveries with others and to connect with other musicians, songwriters, and music lovers with similar interests.

My musical journey began playing violin and trombone as a kid, and moved to keyboards and guitar in my teens and twenties. Today, I play guitar, electric bass, and keyboards, but have been concentrating on lap steel guitar most recently.

As a 60 something retired guy, I'm hoping my musical journey is far from over. It's definitely a work in progress - I work every day to learn and improve my musicianship, â€‹song writing, audio engineering, producing, and promotion. I'm experienced enough to know that working with others is the best way to learn and grow - I'm always looking for new opportunities to collaborate.

My musical home base is rock and blues. My song portfolio includes a variety of styles in both original and cover songs. I live in Connecticut and travel the US as often as I can in search of friends, family, the amazing beauty that our country has to offer, and good music.

New Music Published on Streaming Services!

I've just published my second EP called "Give Your Brother A Break" on all of the popular streaming services. It includes 5 songs of understanding and forgiveness. Maybe good themes these days? I've learned a lot over the last several months about music production from Joe Gilder and the members of his online community called "Home Studio Corner" (https://www.homestudiocorner.com).  My new EP includes "Go Out and Face It" with lyrics by Joe Gilder, and "Things Left Undone" that was produced by HSC member Sylvain Rochon (https://homestudiologic.com/). To listen, you can go to your favorite streaming service and search by the EP name, or for "Gordon Daring" or use the links below...
